History is a subject we do not often think about, no I'm not talking ancient history, I'm talking recent history. A record of past events, sort of all our yesterdays. Interesting events and occurrences which we missed or overlooked because of our busy life style.

Well maybe, just maybe we can recall one or two of them here today for you. Each day we will post a diffent group of occurrences and bring you up to date, maybe enlighten your darkness.

In the fullness of time the wounds of war are healed, a revisit to one of the theatres of war Normandy, lays bare for us the devastation wreaked at the time and the reconstruction afterwards. These picture are OUR reminder.....  least we forget.
