From a haven of tranquility
In the sanctuary of her heart
I sailed into a loch of loneliness
On that day we had to part,
And from that loch, to the open sea,
The sea of broken dreams,
Where the winds of change blow through the sails
And drowns out anguished screams.
I sailed into a tempest
With squalls that matched my tears of woe,
On a voyage of sheer misery
To a destination I did not know.
The hurricane of jealousy
That raged within my heart
Had been transformed into a cyclone
And torn our love apart.
With tempestuous ferocity
My journey continued on,
The wind whipped up the foam flecked sea,
The sun no longer shone.
There in the darkness of my despair
Were the jealous phantoms of my mind,
Rejoicing in the havoc wreaked
In that haven left behind.
With my spirit almost broken
I was finally cast ashore
The world would never hear the name
Of ROBINSON CRUSOE, anymore.
